Lifespan: Adults usually range from 10-15 years

Enclosure: 40 gallon breeder aquariums are suitable for juveniles, once full grown, a 6’x4’x6’ (LxWxH) cage will need to be constructed, with a substrate of aspen, cypress, and coconut shavings or mulch

Temperature: A gradient of 75-80 degrees Fahrenheit on the cool side and 85-90 degrees Fahrenheit on the basking side and full-spectrum UVA and UVB lighting per day is recommended

Humidity: The enclosure should be kept between 70%-80%

Diet: Adults should receive several calcium-dusted assorted vegetables and fruits such as spring mix, carrots, apples, collard greens, bananas, cucumbers, dandelions, etc. every other day as well as a fuzzy mouse twice a week
