Size: Adult females usually range from 8-9 feet and males usually range from 10-12 feet

Lifespan: This species can live for 30-40 years

Enclosure: 90 gallon aquariums are suitable for juveniles, once full grown, a custom 15x15x6 (LxWxH) foot pond enclosure will need to be constructed

Temperature: A gradient of 75-80 degrees Fahrenheit in the water and 95-100 degrees Fahrenheit on the basking area and full-spectrum UV lighting per day is recommended

Filtration: We recommend using a Tetra Decorative ReptoFilter for your aquarium and a pond filter for your custom pond enclosure

Diet: There is a wide variety of commercial crocodilian food available on the market, feed every other day, as well as feeder fish every week, adults can eat appropriately sized mice, rats, and chicks, only feed your alligator what it will consume in one sitting
