THE BEST FRIENDS ARE COLD-BLOODED

Size: Adult females usually range from 4-5 feet and males usually range from 5-6 feet

Lifespan: This species can live for 15-20 years

Enclosure: 20 gallon long aquariums are suitable for juveniles, once full grown, 40 gallon breeder aquariums are preferred

Temperature: A gradient of 70-75 degrees Fahrenheit on the cool side and 80-85 degrees Fahrenheit on the basking side

Humidity: The enclosure should be kept between 50%-70%

Diet: Appropriately sized mice, rats, and even chicks when fully grown, frozen/thawed rodents are preferred, but some snakes will exclusively eat live, feed every 7-10 days
